Those squiggling pesky little damn worms of our imagination. What fuckery have they found us awakening in now?
Well somewhere outside of that imaginary hell, exists a real-world of hell that we humans call home. Despite those dreams of faraway places and what if worlds of imagination, resides some burden of responsibilities. Well, I shot for the extra credit to get a start on getting ahead of the ball on this next shot of mine. But whereas I look like an overachiever, what you truly see is that I’m a poor planner, and react and act upon primitive urges on some things unspoken. Like a publishing schedule for example.
And you get what we have here, a jumbled mess of wholesome goodness. Ok, so I may have gotten over-excited on one project while dragging my feet and find them scheduled to be released within the same month and out of order, once or twice…. fortunately, no one really pays a whole lot of attention when you are at the bottom of the food chain, like myself, for example. Thus, without much notice, I was able to switch the dates and not have anyone else notice. Good thing for those little things, bad things for my honesty to spill.
Hold the drum rolls, what the hell am I babbling on about? Two new releases and one revised edition release in a 30 day period or so. Amongst all that will be at least two blog tours, complete with readings, reviews, interviews, and other stuff of the fun and sort including free copies of this and of that, maybe even one or two signed items to promote these promised to be very busy upcoming days.
Somedays though we only subconsciously recognize the facts, we do see them materialize before our very eyes. What this stretch of time and my goals hope to accomplish is the release of two of my poetry collections: A Lesser Man and Born Hopeless with all the Answers and the release of the 2nd edition of 21 Reasons/Lies which was just released in February of this present year. As it stands the actual order of everything rolls out like this:
Friday, August 20, 2021– Release of the 2nd edition of 21 Reasons/Lies
Friday, September 24, 2021– Release of A Lesser Man
Friday, October 15, 2021– Release of Born Hopeless with all the Answers
