Happy Anti-Valentine’s Day to those of you following along with my blog and my progress, by the way, a special thank you is deserved for that, so allow me to again thank you. The ability to be able to continue writing and manage to find those willing to still read is a magic discovered that is unlike any other I have ever known outside of a storybook.
Today marks the release of 21 Reasons/Lies, my fourth release, my second little chapbook. This one is everything I was taught as a writer that you can’t write about because it was not a tangible thing: Love and Heartbreak. I tend to disagree that it is not tangible to some degree. If I count amongst my fingers how many people I am thankful for and love, then it’s more than just an intangible emotion, it’s an inventoried necessity.
21 Reasons/Lies shows another tangible side to emotion, disappointment, and remorse, or is that disgust? I’ll leave that to anyone who wishes to read it to decide for themselves. This is an extension on Letters to Erin and the end of my exclusively categorizing this subject as book material from my hands. The beautiful sadness. That is how I would describe it. Although, the bitter broken receptacle of falsified bullshit from another living human being would also work very well, depending upon which side of the coin you are looking at.
