Books

my poetry collections

the years have been kind to me since my first poetry collection’s release in 2019, a footnote for tomorrow. that collection has reached the number one spot on amazon multiple times over the years. it was written over the span of my teenage years into my twenties, then the collection sat dormant for over a decade until my daughter discovered it and insisted it needed to be a book.

in 2020, i released ghost in the reflection-letters to erin. this sophomore release was received with great reviews, which truly aided me to break out as a writer. it helped me find my voice and direction in this madness.

later in 2020, valedictorian of the bottom feeders was released. it’s a very short chapbook collection that documents my dive to the bottom with addiction. i never intended for it to be anything more than something for me to look back on when i felt weak, but the book silently became my second best-selling collection (at least at the time of me building this particular page).

21 reasons/lies was released in 2021. this collection takes a different perspective on modern relationships. because it was written during a period of time i was enduring a hard breakup in my life, it is a little on the angrier, hope-lost side of heartbreak. but from the ashes, we always arise again.

born hopeless with all the answers…songs for a dying generation was released in a hurry, the first edition went out as i was being cuffed and dragged off to prison to do a few years for my addiction troubles. that first edition was a short chapbook released in 2021. In 2025, after my release from the department of corrections, i revamped and released what would be my largest collection. i recycled the title and incorporated many of the poems included in the original release. the collection addresses the downward decline of society’s morals and values.
